There are people still using PyGtk 2.10 on older Linux distributions,
and I would like to continue supporting that version.
Yup, the latest Red Hat version (5.4) has pygtk 2.10 (since they don't
update library versions for point releases they are still using what
shiped in 5.0).
So, we currently have to support PyGtk 2.10
- but we still haven't decided on a policy for which versions to support
(and not support).
Should we follow the latest red hat?

Maybe the current stable release of all major distributions as defined
by distrowatch?

(possibly + red hat :-)
