I wouldn't miss Launchpad myself; I'm used to work on .po files directly with kbabel. But it may be useful to other translators. Maybe it would be possible to set up a separate Launchpad instance for that? Theodore Tso suggested the Translation Project ( http://translationproject.org/ , I guess).
