Double clicking doesn't work at the moment. I am not sure why. Also, I realize that it's nice (avoid code duplication?) to just activate the top menu item on double click, but the code necessary to do so is somewhat longer than just calling the correct action directly, and takes orders of magnitude more time (especially for the changelog which constructs the entire menu only to call the top item)
I don't know what you think... If the intended semantics is really 'call the top item', then we should, as Windows does, bold it. Without looking at the code, I never would have guessed that it was the case; I just assumed it called visual diff :-) Feel free to fix it another way if you don't like this.
