a) I prefer to have the "large" buttons outmost, and the "small" buttons
close to each other, so I would change Adrians proposal to: apply_all,
apply, unapply, unapply_all

b) I don't think a separator is necessary, but I'm not sure.

c) I don't think it will make a difference if apply is before unapply or
not, but I can see the logic behind Adrians proposal. So: I'm probably 0+
for having apply to the left of unapply.

d) I think it is important that apply points down, and unapply up - however
it is unfortunate that the icon is the same as push/pull which is used in
many places already. The old behaviour was fine with me (left = unapply,
right = apply) and did not conflict with push/pull icons. Thus, I'm +1 for
keeping the old icons and the old layout :-) or for custom icons for MQ or
for custom icons for push/pull/incoming/outgoing.


If we should have custom icons for MQ, what symbol would you use to
represent a queue?
