It clearly produced an error message about the conflicting short options. I experienced it with Mercurial 1.3.1 and TortoiseHg 0.8.3 (on Ubuntu 9.10). Don't know about the most recent versions. Seems like patchbomb+taks is a rarely used combination, isn't it ? Or people using it know some workaround.
I sent the patch to a...@xpuppet.org too, but that address was rejected by the mailserver. Does anyone know how to contact the author of the tasks extension ? I don't see much activity on that bitbucket project neither. Btw, Steve, it would be nice if the error message showing the erroneous command, as I experienced with the patchbomb+tasks combination, was shown completely, possibly in the error-message window, instead of in the titlebar. Because it was not completely visible/readable. Or do you prefer me to register that as a request in the issues list ?
