Exactly, Steve. It clearly produced an error message about the
conflicting short options. I experienced it with Mercurial 1.3.1 and
TortoiseHg 0.8.3 (on Ubuntu 9.10).
Don't know about the most recent versions. Seems like patchbomb+taks
is a rarely used combination, isn't it ? Or people using it know some
workaround.

I sent the patch to a...@xpuppet.org too, but that address was rejected
by the mailserver. Does anyone know how to contact the author of the
tasks extension ? I don't see much activity on that bitbucket project
neither.

Btw, Steve, it would be nice if the error message showing the
erroneous command, as I experienced with the patchbomb+tasks
combination, was shown completely, possibly in the error-message
window, instead of in the titlebar. Because it was not completely
visible/readable. Or do you prefer me to register that as a request in
the issues list ?
