Unfortunately, both of these problems seem to be intrinsic to the
editable gtk.cellRendererText widget.  We only get notified of an edit
when you 'accept' the change by hitting return or tab.  There's no
signals to catch when you focus to another widget, and there's no
control to the tab order as near as I can tell.

I'll accept patches if someone else figures out this puzzle, but I'm
moving onto my next TODOs.  Go ahead and open an issue for this.
