Hi,
I've been observing a bit less than optimal performance since a couple
weeks, working from crew. The UI (hgtk log) comes up in reasonable time
(some 7 seconds), but scrolling is sluggish. It pauses for about a second
after half of the page is drawn, then continues. Also the quick search (you
just type something and it hunts down for that string in the history list)
takes time. When the string is not found I'll wait about 16 seconds until
it comes back. CPU is at 100% during this time.
I think (no guarantees) some weeks back it was much faster. But then, at
that time my repo was also much smaller. I have about 11000 revs now.
This is on Ubuntu 8.04, 64 bit, Tortoisehg from crew.
Did anyone else see similar performance issues?
