I'm leaning towards maintaining just a stable branch as it's most similar to our existing work flows.
But I would like to hear from the translation team, especially Peer, about how this affects their efforts. Would named release branches (0.9, etc) be any easier to manage, or is a single stable branch the best approach for launchpad as well. I noticed Mercurial has settled on hg-main and hg-stable translation repositories. Just for fun, I've been playing with churn today... % hg churn -c [email protected] 1714 ********************************************************* [email protected] 702 *********************** [email protected] 331 *********** [email protected] 144 **** [email protected] 90 ** [email protected] 69 ** [email protected] 62 ** [email protected] 55 * [email protected] 14 Trey Roessig 11 [email protected] 9 [email protected] 7 [email protected] 6 [email protected] 6 [email protected] 6 [email protected] 4 [email protected] 3 [email protected] 2 Wagner Bruna 2 [email protected] 2 [email protected] 2 [email protected] 2 [email protected] 1 [email protected] 1 [email protected] 1 [email protected] 1 [email protected] 1 [email protected] 1 Akihiro Itou 1 [email protected] 1 [email protected] 1 [email protected] 1 If you don't use -c (count changesets), peso ends up dominating the results because of his large i18n checkins. % hg churn [email protected] 193731 ********************************************************* [email protected] 110022 ******************************** [email protected] 45248 ************* [email protected] 12870 *** [email protected] 8331 ** [email protected] 6531 * [email protected] 5735 * [email protected] 5710 * <snip> % hg churn hggtk [email protected] 45503 ********************************************************* [email protected] 27757 ********************************** [email protected] 5714 ******* [email protected] 1838 ** [email protected] 693 Cheers, -- Steve Borho ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Tortoisehg-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tortoisehg-discuss
