From my point of view: MQ is a very powerful and nice tool. It is so powerful that it has a lot of rough edges and lets you mess things up - especially when it comes to conflict handling. TortoiseHg puts a nice GUI on top of MQ. That is very convenient and useful for many tasks, but it can't (and shouldn't) hide that it is MQ. I think the best advice is to fokus on learning how to use MQ from the command line, and then start using the GUI where it makes sense and when you understand what it does. That doesn't answer your questions, but it might help you find answers or workarounds. (pbranches should (in theory) allow a more polished user experience, but isn't as widely used and polished yet ...) /Mads ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net Dev2Dev email is sponsored by: Show off your parallel programming skills.
