For text files there is line "copy from" and one "copy to" which makes
it possible to see what is happening.

For binary files  (like Word .doc) there is no copy from and copy to
line. You have to scroll along the diff -git and remember the file
names to see it.

This seems a little difficult to discover for me.

I think it would be easier to see if it was not necessary to examine
the diffs, for example:
In the case of a copy, the state could be Ax
In the case of a move, the R and A could be combined to a single line
with state AR
In both cases, the diff should be relative between original source and
new target.
