If there is no objection to this mailing list being hosted by Nabble or
Google Groups then by all means let's do it. If you want me to set that up
then I'll set what I can do.
The point is that that's what we were actually in the middle of discussing.
The proposal that got deleted had 4 replies in the space of 4 hours (more
content than this mailing list has most days), and if you can't see why
deleting a discussion that some other people are in the middle of without a
word is going to seem rather arrogant and disrespectful, then I doubt I
could explain it to you in few enough words that you'd be bothered to read
it.
