I have TortoiseHG 2.5 on Windows 7 and github's windows application
installed.
I created a local repository using thg and now want to collaborate with
someone who has a remote repository. The remote repo has the same
directory structure and files (for the most part), but they have no
common history known to git.

When I try to pull from the remote using the thg workbench I get
> % hg --repository C:\Users\rdboylan\Documents\R\mice pull --verbose
> https://github.com/stefvanbuuren/mice.git
> real URL is https://github.com/stefvanbuuren/mice
> abort: HTTP Error 406: Not Acceptable
> [command returned code 255 Fri Apr 05 10:15:50 2013]
I have tried all the methods available in the sync widget and URLs
provided when viewing the repository with a regular web browser (not
github's app). None of them work, producing the same error (or failure
to authenticate when I tried ssh).

I have an account on github, and have tried before and after logging
into it via the github app.

I'm not at all sure this is a tortoisehg issue, but I'd appreciate any
help you can offer.

Thanks.
Ross Boylan
