Typo: "merge"

1. make sure default merge-tools configurations are installed

    $ hg config merge-tools.meld.args --debug
    ...
    read config from: /etc/mercurial/hgrc.d/mergetools.rc
    ...
    /etc/mercurial/hgrc.d/mergetools.rc:29: --label='local' $local ...

   if not, download
   https://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/thg/src/stable/contrib/mergetools.rc
   and put it to config directory [1] or copy necessary lines to .hgrc.

2. make sure "meld" is in your PATH

   you might need to write it in /etc/launchd.conf if TortoiseHg is installed
   as GUI application.

3. select "meld"

    [ui]
    merge = meld
    [tortoisehg]
    vdiff = meld

Hope this helps.
