Some people here use p4 instead: https://www.perforce.com/product/components/perforce-visual-merge-and-diff-tools The gui seem better then kdiff3, I still use kdiff3 because I'm used to it, but it show it's age. The biggest problems is to known which part come from where with it, the temporary name doesn't help much, would love to see a usefull prefix to better understand. As in, the common ancestor of the two versions of the file you're merging? That's kind of an essential part of doing easy merges in any revision control system, even SVN.
