Hi, I'm the tortoisehg and mercurial maintainer on OpenBSD since a few
months ago.
Until now, we've kept the tortoisehg package version in sync with the
mercurial version. i.e. I don't update mercurial until you release the
new version of tortoisehg. That's really not working well when the
update of the mercurial package is urgent (security) or critical
(regressions or broken features).
So, I've a question. Can tortoisehg work with a different version of
mercurial?. e.g. tortoisehg 4.3 will work with mercurial 4.4? (except
obviously for new features).
I would like to remove this limitation from our tortoisehg package but I
don't want to break the package for the users.
