Hi,

I had various versions of TortoiseHg installed on Windows 7 x64 for a few years,
then I installed Microsoft's Visual Studio 2015 (community edition). After
that, whenever I am in TortoiseHg and right click to local edit an .hgignore
file, instead of using my default text editor, it starts up Visual Studio, which
is quite annoying. However, in Windows Explorer if I double-click .hgignore it
will use my default text editor as it should.

I have tried un-installing then re-installing TortoiseHg but the above keeps
happening.

Apart from un-installing Visual Studio, is there anything I can do to prevent
this occurring? Is it a bug in TortoiseHg?

TIA,
John
