Hi All
I have local TSVN on my Windows 7 PRO PC and Collabnet Subversion Edge
Server (sw version 2.2.1-2773.87 and Subversion version 1.7.2-2773.87)
installations that have been running fine for multiple months. Some days
ago I've updated my TSVN installation from version 1.7.2 to the last
version 1.7.7, Build 22907 - 64 Bit, and then I tried to browse my remote
repository having this message: "Unable to connect to repository at URL
[..] Otions of [...] could not connect to server at [...]". No
authentication prompt, just that msg. I can see overlay icons in windows
explorer for my repository files and folders.
Connecting to my remote subversion server with chrome worked
fine, prompting for login and so on .. .
Cleared both the URL history and Authentication data from the TSVN Saved
Settings panel. Tried temporarily disabling windows firewall, and
antivirus, same thing. Tried using LAN IP urls instead of my machine public
url, always explicitly specifiying in the url the port number on which
subversion is set, ... nothing works. General > Subversion > Subversion
configuration file has only comments in it. No proxy settings in Network,
neither in internet options.
Also trid to downgrading to previous TSVN versions with no success.
Uninstalled TSVN completely, including manually deleting everything in
C:\Users\{me}\AppData\Roaming\Subversion
and C:\Users\{me}\AppData\Roaming\TortoiseSVN, and related keys in Windows
registry; reinstalled TSVN 1.7.7, no change. Looked in the event log,
nothing that seemed relevant.
Is there something else that I can try?
Is there some other place where TSVN store its settings, that I can try to
manually delete?
Is there any shell command to check the repository connection?
If anyone has any ideas of other things to try or look at, I'd appreciate
it very much.
Thanks very much for any assistance,
Mario
