I've been working on a proposal like this for a while, and was going to reply to Mel's original message on this topic. In fact, I wikified my proposal just recently so I could share it with the list. I don't know what the details are for POSSE alumni to put forward proposals, but I've gone ahead and generated what I think one might look like: http://teachingopensource.org/index.php/User:Jadudm/PTV I titled the proposal "Participating Through Video." It includes an abstract, a short background, proposed efforts, dissemination, and a budget. Being posted to the TOS wiki, it is CC licensed, so if it works as a format, others can copy it. Or, perhaps a proposal should look different -- comments welcome. I don't know what discussion this will spur, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling.
