I'm Elinor Madigan, one of the POSSE 2011 cohort members. I wanted you to know (as per the class grant procedure) that I'm planning on using part of my course grant to bring Mel over, in February, to speak to my classes. I expect that travel expenses will probably run about $400, and she and I have been working on logistics.
Yay! This is a a great example of how to do the course grant thing, in case any other POSSE cohort members from this year were wondering. Also as a reminder, Sebastian and I are happy to travel, and that there are also many other open source community members who'd be happy to as well -- or to host your students if they come out to their conference or hackathon!
