FIE abstract submission deadlines are Feb. 1st, for the record. I'm personally more likely to submit to FIE because that's where my advisor (and therefore my research projects) will be, but Heidi's points are well taken (thanks for the heads-up, Heidi -- I hadn't realized that) and if I weren't making my submission decisions on the basis of my advisor's travelling, I'd probably put my TOS-type stuff in for SIGITE because of her rationale.
