Assistant Professor of CS & IT at Western New England University

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer
Science and Information Technology to begin in fall 2016, subject to
budgetary approval. A Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science or
related field is required. Applicants must have a strong commitment to
undergraduate teaching and show potential for scholarship.  Applicants with
background in cybersecurity, information assurance, networks, network
security, and system administration are especially encouraged to apply.

The department oversees degree programs leading to a Bachelor of Science in
Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. The
undergraduate programs have approximately 150 majors. The department also
provides curricular offerings, servicing the Colleges of Arts and Sciences
and Business.

Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational
institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban
campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, the University serves approximately
4,000 students (including a full-time undergraduate enrollment of 2500).
Undergraduate and graduate programs are offered through the University's
Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy and School of
Law.
