Nominations for the Women in Open Source Award sponsored by Red Hat are
open on two tracks - academic and community - until 5pm ET on Monday,
January 27. Students are eligible for the academic award and all other open
source contributors for the community award. Students who contribute to
open source projects as part of their academic experience are strong
contenders for the academic award - don't hesitate to put in a nomination
for someone you know or encourage them to self-nominate! Additionally,
nominate yourself or someone who inspires you for the community award! You
are expected to work with the nominee to prepare the answers for the
