Title: [Bad] Change terms at any time without notification
Topic: changes-notice
Summary: Gittip can change its terms without notifying users and expects users
to comply with the terms after changing. In practice, Gittip does issue
broadcast notification of a change via social media.
Score: 0

> Gittip reserves the right to change or modify the terms and conditions
> contained in the Terms or any policy or guideline of the Site, at any time
> and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective
> immediately upon posting of the revisions to the Site, and you waive any
> right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or
> modifications.

Discussion:

As a quick search [1] for "terms" within Gittip's open issues indicates, coming
terms changes are not likely to be secret, but end users who don't follow
development may not be directly notified of any changes.
