Hi all,

In 2011 we accepted donations through IndieGoGo, GrunderGarage, and Flattr.
The 20,000 euros raised in that first crowdfunding round is now almost used
up, and we want to raise more funding to continue working on Terms of
Service; Didn't Read.

We have been talking to NLNet about accepting donations through them. The
advantage of having them as an intermediary (as opposed to accepting
donations directly) is that it provides donators with some trust of where
their money is going, and also NLNet is a registered charity in the
Netherlands, so donators can get tax back.

The way this would work is that NLNet creates a "theme fund" for us (see
https://nlnet.nl/themes/) so that donations can be made *to* NLNet
Foundation, but *earmarked* for our project. Some other projects that have
a similar arrangement with NLNet can be found at
https://commonsconservancy.org/programmes/.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this, or can
think of a reason why we should not do this! :)

Cheers,
Michiel.
