Title: External display won't display Status in Unity: Fix Released Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: unity I use my 50" Samsung plasma TV with my netbook as a media centre. This worked 100% in Lucid. In Maverick (Unity) the display registers during start up and shut down sequences, but nothing in between (dead screen on the television). There is no setting for 'Monitors' in the system preferences - so I can't change the settings to test. Also, I can't find an Ubuntu supported app in the software centre to control this. Apologies if I am missing something, if this is the case then this bug is a useability issue.
