Is this fixed? I just installed Ubuntu Touch 15.04 r24 and OpenSearch
support doesn't seem to extend to the browser GUI - though the search
engine configuration files are OpenSearch description files. To add a
search engine I had to remount / rw and edit a new OpenSearch file. What
I was expecting was some magic in the browser GUI that recognised (even
if prompted to do it by the user) the rel=opensearch link in the page
and download/add the new file itself.

Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Actually we do only support Google for search, we should allow the
user to choose which search engine to work with and collect those
  search engines using OpenSearch.
