Public bug reported: Only a few days ago the phone finally started asking for the PIN right on startup, in a nice full screen page that said "Enter SIM pin", followed by the phone pin. This worked up to image 207, but image 208 regressed that again. Now it again keeps being locked and you have to unlock it from the network indicator (which doesn't exactly jump your eye, so you just tend to forget about it).
This might be similar/a dupe of bug 1333121, but it seems that that bug never landed? But it did work fine until yesterday. ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: mako regression-release touch ** Tags added: mako regression-release touch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1361518 Title: image 208 regression: does not ask for SIM pin at startup Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Only a few days ago the phone finally started asking for the PIN right on startup, in a nice full screen page that said "Enter SIM pin", followed by the phone pin.
