To anyone that stumbles across this expired bug: "intel_idle.max_cstate=1" has solved my complete freeze issues on Bay Trail running Linux 4.1.13(Slackware64-current(pre-14.2) formerly running Ubuntu 15.04/15.10 with stock kernels).
