Here's a video of the click slowed down 8X (taken at 240 FPS and plays at 30 FPS).
When slowed down eight times, it appears the darkening animation is intentional. And it starts to look good too. But the animation needs to last about 10X longer for it to really be perceptible and beneficial. The key problem with it right now is that it only lasts for 1-2 frames on a typical 60Hz display. So at that speed it just looks like a glitch. Whatever the current animation duration is, make it about 10X longer :) ** Attachment added: "MVI_8479.MP4" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-system-settings/+bug/1545945/+attachment/4598518/+files/MVI_8479.MP4 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1545945 Title: Selection flickers to dark grey for a split second before settling on light grey Status in Ubuntu UX: New Status in ubuntu-system-settings package in Ubuntu: New Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu: New Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: System Settings: The rounded selection rectangle flickers on mouse click.
