Title:
crash while scrolling and stressing thumbnailer

Status in gallery-app package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
I got a crash in the gallery app today, on krillin rtm image 69 with
  silo rtm/landing-009 installed (unity-system-compositor).

I'm not sure if it's related to the silo or not, or whether it's
reproducible, but I at least have the crash dump.

At the time, I was running gallery for the first time after preloading
the phone with photos and videos. I scrolled rapidly up and down
while the thumbnails were being generated, to see if I could trigger
thumbnail creation for as many images as possible. After a few
seconds, gallery locked up, dumped via apport, then died.

The crash dump and a screen shot of its final state are attached.
