That would be Xmir 1.0 which we no longer develop or support.

Also, Canonical no longer supports Ubuntu 13.10 in general:

So please upgrade. Although admittedly this bug has been silent for 2.5
years. Just tidying up...

Title:
  saucy mir ppa black screen on notebook Radeon HD 6310

Status in unity-system-compositor package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Boots to black screen. Ctrl-Alt-F1 no response. Have to power off.
  Boot in recovery mode xrandr says;

  jerry@Aspire-5253:~$ xrandr
  xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
  Screen 0: minimum 800 x 600, current 1024 x 768, maximum 1024 x 768
  default connected primary 1024x768+0+0 0mm x 0mm
     1024x768        0.0*
     800x600        61.0

  Runs fine in saucy without mir PPA

  Looks like saucy - mir - compositor cannot recognize the normal laptop
  built-in display at 1366x768.
