It can be observed on unity7 with a physical keyboard attached, as well as on a touch device running unity8 with a bluetooth keyboard. Steps to reproduce: - browse to http://example.org - focus the address bar and browse to http://start.ubuntu.com within the same tab - focus the search box on the page, type any character - press the backspace key Expected result: the character that was input in the search box is deleted. Actual result: the user is taken one page back in the navigation history, back to http://example.org.
