This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report against it and we will take it from there.

If I remove my phone from the list of input devices, then attempt to initiate a session, the phone says it is connecting, then that it's "connecting remote control", and then it fails there. It would be better if this worked without needing to add the phone to a list of input devices before making an attempt.
