As a workaround for now this proposed upload rebuilds mozc with export NO_PKG_MANGLE=1 so the translations are not stripped. [Test Case] After install, check for the existence of e.g. /usr/share/locale/ja/LC_MESSAGES/fcitx-mozc.mo /usr/share/locale/zh_CN/LC_MESSAGES/fcitx-mozc.mo [Regression Potential] Low.
