Note that this might only be caused by a yet missing feature in unity8: If you tap very close to the edge (in an area that can trigger an edge gesture), right now the touch is lost. However the plan is to forward that touch to the application if unity8 realizes this is only a tap (instead of an edge gesture). Once that is in place in unity, buttons close to the edge should be reachable much easier.
Would be a pity if we waste precious horizontal space in the header workarounding the issue instead of properly fixing it. I advise to reevaluate this after gesture cancellation in unity is in place. ** Also affects: unity8 Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Project changed: unity8 => unity8 (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-ui-toolkit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1368702 Title: [SDK] HEADER ISSUE: Back arrow needs to be moved further to the right and also have a larger invisible touch target Status in Ubuntu UX bugs: New Status in “ubuntu-ui-toolkit” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: - SDK HEADER ISSUE: Back arrow needs to be moved further to the right and also have a larger invisible touch target To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1368702/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
