I created a new user, logged in as the user, changed the account so no lockscreen would occur (default timeout is 5 minutes), brought up a browser just for some extra activity and then walked away.
12 minutes later I came back and was again unable to get any response typing multiple keys on the keyboard or moving the mouse. Just a nice dark screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to lightdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1609119 Title: login session timeouts but unable to reactivate with keyboard or mouse input Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I recently upgraded my Ubuntu to the latest version: Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Release: 16.04 When I log in and then let the screen be turned off by inactivity (currently set for 5 minutes WITHOUT screenlock) I am unable to resume the session, that is typing on the keyboard or moving the mouse does not return my login to an active session.
