I downloaded the iso image for ubuntu 16.10 ,i checked the integrity of it using "md5checksum" and i was correctly downloaded and i even tried it in a dell laptop where it was able to show the menu for installation ,
but in my laptop eventhough i am booting it in Uefi mode and from the liveusb it shows a Black screen with no further info.
