Creating a virtual env with pyvenv and activating it using the fish shell will
throw an error.
This is due to a '$' being added to the venv prompt.
This is behavior that is not in python 3.5:

/tmp> source venv/bin/activate.fish
The “$” character begins a variable name. The character “(”, which directly
followed a “$”, is not allowed as a part of a variable name, and variable names
may not be zero characters long. To learn more about variable expansion in
fish, type “help expand-variable”.
