Public bug reported:

I have installed FAHControl (the detailed GUI control for FAHClient (the
Folding@home client)) on Ubuntu 16.04 but when I launch it it's icon
flashes in the launcher and then disappears after a few seconds and
nothing else happens.

I ran sudo apt-get check and found:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
fahcontrol : Depends: python-support (>= 0.90.0) but it is not installable
Depends: python-gnome2 but it is not installed

sudo apt-cache policy python-support gives:

python-support:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: (none)
  Version table:

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-support shows that this
package was available in previous Ubuntu versions. I read on askubuntu
that it was removed as part of Ubuntu's upgrade from python2 to python3.

I would like to get FAHControl running on Ubuntu 16.04.
