You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Steps to reproduce:
1 - setup the phone so that the lockscreen requires no password whatsoever
(it's the swipe-to-unlock one)
2 - launch an application
3 - press the power button [display turns off]
4 - press the power button again [display turns on and you can see the
lockscreen]
5 - perform a full left-edge drag (from edge to edge)
Expected outcome:
Lockscreen follows your finger and gets dismissed. You get to the application
behind it.
Actual outcome:
Both lockscreen and the application follow your finger and get dismissed. You
get to the dash.
** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu)
