Title: no response from printer Status in cups package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have a very old dot-matrix printer, Epson LX-400 model P70RA. I am attempting to link it from a USB port on a laptop running a Lubuntu version of Ubuntu 14.04. I have been trying to use a ppd file /etc/cups/ppd/Epson-LX-300plus-ibmpro.ppd which I have seen recommended.
