My motherboard is ASUS M2A-VM HDMI with integrated Realtek ALC883. KMix shows very few configuration options. From SystemSettings I have selected as preferred device my stereo analog device, but does not work and I not hear anything when I press the "test" button. In SystemSettings do not appear items related to "pulseaudio" as I believe was in Lucid if you have installed pulseaudio. I tried installing "pavucontrol" and it have more options than KMix. When playing with VLC, pavucontrol shows variations on the meters as if it detects the audio, but I get no audio outputs.
