This bug happens in the following scenario:
The machine is on with the screen awake, logged in, with headphones
plugged in the volume is set to X%. Upon un-plugging the headphones the
actual volume changes to Y% where Y is the last value that the volume
was at prior to the headphones being plugged in, however at the moment
of unplugging the headphones the volume slider appears in the top right
corner displaying X% (when the volume at this moment has changed X -> Y.
This bug also happens in the opposite scenario. For example the volume
is at X% with no headphones plugged in, upon plugging headphones in the
slider appears and displays X% but the actual volume has once again
changed from X -> Y where Y is the last value the volume was at when
headphones were plugged in.
