Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I can not hear sound on the second sound card (Audigy4) even via "Test
Speakers". On the same hardware Windows XP and ubuntu 8.10 x64 works fine with
them.
Of course, sound card selected as output device, unmuted and trying with
various profiles (Analog Stereo Duplex, Analog Stereo Output, Analog Surraund
5.1Output, etc.)
