Title:
[USB-Audio - Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! Pro] Sound mutes on suspend

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I am using a laptop with an onboard HDA audio chipset (disabled due to
physical jack problems) and an external USB audio interface. While the
external interface works fine normally, every time I suspend, the
volume level is muted; the volume level should be retained over
  suspend.
