@Jeremy: I remember that we talked about fonts-indic a few weeks ago.
The accumulated size of the packages it pulls isn't huge - 5 MB disk
space if I didn't make a mistake - and it sounds like a good idea. Or
would it require a bunch of MIRs?

Maybe, though, replace fonts-knda and fonts-telu in the platform.artful
branch with fonts-indic. (Why do we pull some fonts via desktop-common
in platform.artful, and some via desktop in ubuntu.artful?)
