I'm not sure. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
When it doesn't work, it won't until the next reboot.

And I'm not sure it didn't happen before. It may have been less frequent
for "random" reasons. Or it *may* have broken recently, I don't know.

Hibernation has NEVER worked well (I guess that's why it is not made
readily available through the main menu), it has a number of other
issues.

I AM using 16.04 right now.

  pm-hibernate does nothing at all

  I have run from a command line:
  # sudo pm-hibernate

  and NOTHING f***ing happens.

  Usually it works (except for lots of issues on resume), but now I have
  tried it twice and it does nothing.
