I encounter the same problem with the daily Xubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu MATE 18.04
of March 5, 2018. The connection via ethernet cable does not work unless I
disable the ipv6.
In practice I have to set the Method to Ignore in IPV6 Settings to navigate.

Title:
  wireless disconnect

Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
There are many problems reported about random and quick
disconnect/reconnect of the wireless connection in ubuntu. Some say,
disabling the ipv6 is the solution but it isn't!

I really do want to find a way to debug what happens that the wireless
connection drops randomly. But I couldn't find a tool for that.

The output of the following commands are attached:
  uname -a
  ifconfig
  cat /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6
  iwconfig
  lsmod
  dmesg
