Title:
  totem-video-thumbnailer crashed with signal 5 in g_malloc()

Status in gstreamer1.0 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I cannot say if this is actually a duplicate of 1697234, or something
  else. Details in the other bug are sparse. All my binary & version
  particulars are the same as for that bug.

  Totem hung for a very long time before eventually throwing the above
  error.

  In my case, was playing an .mp4 video off my android phone (Samsung
  Galaxy S5, if relevant I can provide more details) through nautilus.
  Phone is also connected via adb. I don't know too much about this; I
  use it to facilitate a remote control app (scrcopy). Phone is
  connected via usb, if that matters.

  For the record, normally I don't have any issues with this setup. It
  could just be that the video was particularly large and the connection
  to the phone was flaky for whatever reason.
