Hello Iain, or anyone else affected, Accepted gstreamer-editing-services1.0 into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /gstreamer-editing-services1.0/1.14.1-1~ubuntu18.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
